(Studio) Bomb explodes in cockpit of Trans World Airlines, Inc. (TWA) 707 parked at Las Vegas Airport. $2 million extortion threat had been made against airline yesterday, end a bomb was found on a Trans World Airlines, Inc. (TWA) plane in NYC, 12 minute before it was to explode.

(Las Vegas, Nevada) FBI thinks bomb planted before plane left New York City for flight to McCarran Airport In Las Vegas. Bomb went off at 4 a.m. with no one aboard, even though plane had been searched in New York City and Las Vegas. Police were guarding plane at time. [Dep. sheriff, Lanis MILLS - describes blast.] [FBI, Harold CAMPBELL - says FBI will investigate leads found in debris.] Despite delays for searches, Trans World Airlines, Inc. (TWA) flights continue.
