(Boston, Massachusetts) Fire sweeps converted shoe factory, now an apt. complex, in the Jamaica Plain area. Firemen worked through night. Nearby housing project residents evacuated. Rain helps contain fire. $1 million damage estimated. Fire of suspicious origin; sprinkler system didn't work.
