(Studio) House Assassinations Committee hearings on another conspiracy theory re: Kennedy assassination reported.

(DC) Louie Steven Witt's testimony to committee detailed; is noted to concern black umbrella he carried on November 22, 1963, while on lunch break from Rio Grande Ins. Company in Dallas. Reports that Kennedy family strongly disliked black umbrella symbol noted. [WITT - was going to use umbrella to heckle Kennedy.] Conspiracy theories involving use of umbrella stated; photos and diagrams shown. [Committee MBR. - asks if umbrellas have ever been outfitted with weapon.] [WITT - says no.] Chairperson Louis Stokes' request that staff member open umbrella reported [STOKES - suggests staffer open it towards audience.] [WITT - thinks if "Guinness Book of World Records" had category for people in wrong place, at wrong time, for wrong thing, he'd have no close competition for number 1.]
