| Abstract: | NBC anchor John Chancellor describes the activity in the Senate Caucus Room while waiting for the morning session to begin. He goes on to review John Dean’s testimony from the previous day. Commercial break includes FemIron, Teri Paper Towels, and Kraft salad dressings.John Chancellor asks NBC reporters Douglas Kiker and Carl Stern about their talk with Senator Howard Baker who told them that he is going to ask John Dean what the President knew and when did he know it. Kiker also spoke with Senator Talmadge who said that he had many questions but wouldn’t say what they were. Carl Stern speculates that there will be some questions about finances. John Chancellor joins the discussion about Dean’s comments about the White House influencing the committee. |
