  • As the hearings recess, so the Senators can go vote on pending legislation, NBC anchor John Chancellor comments on John Dean’s testimony particularly the FBI investigation of CBS reporter Daniel Schorr.

  • John Chancellor discusses The Intelligence Evaluation Committee (IEC) in both John Dean’s testimony and in President Nixon’s statement of May 22nd.

  • NBC reporters Carl Stern and Doug Kiker join John Chancellor to talk about the IEC.

  • Commercial break: Glory Rug Cleaner; Off Mosquito Repellent: Easy Comb Easy Set: Windex.

  • Doug Kiker joins an interview of Senator Daniel Inouye about the questions submitted by the White House and will give the White House's side of the story.

  • Committee Chairman Sam Ervin calls the committee to order and Senator Joseph Montoya resumes questioning John Dean.
