  • CBS News Special concerning nuclear weapons hosted by Walter Cronkite. Unmediated discussion between Henry Kissinger, Former Secretary of State; Michael Heseltine, British Defense Minister; Paul Warnke, Former U.S. Arms Negotiator; and Egon Bahr, German Opposition Party.
  • Each participant is allowed 5 minutes to present his views, 4 minutes for rebuttal, and 4 minutes to sum up his views followed by brief free exchange. Kissinger calls for deployment and arms control. Brief history of nuclear weapons with particular attention to arms race between the Soviet Union and United States.
