Title: Inside Story: Gannett Company and USA Today
| Abstract: | Special program that examines the story of a once unknown newspaper chain that ends up growing into a remarkably wealthy media hulk: the Gannett company. The Gannett chain owns 119 newspapers, 13 radio stations and 7 television stations among other companies. But all these properties have failed to bring Gannett distinction; however, this may change for Gannett's new paper: USA Today. USA Today is like no other newspaper; it is aimed at the television generation.
