Title: Inside Story: For the First Time Ever

Abstract:Special Program examining the successes of the Oakland Tribune and Channel 3 in Jackson, Mississippi. These two news corporations were united for they were both owned at the time by black men. The Oakland Tribune was a failing newspaper and this program focuses on what changes were made; Channel 3's changes made by its owner also are examined.
