Title: Vietnam-7: Tet 1968

Abstract:Special program that highlights that in 1967, the U.S. government hoped that in 1968 a new phase would start up in the war in Vietnam; they looked forward to the end. But, when Tet (the Vietnamese New Year) occurs, Vietcong and North Vietnamese offensives strike Vietnam. These attacks split the White House opinion. This program offers a look into the aftermath of these offensives.
