Third of a four part series re: political, economic, and social reforms taking place in the USSR with Hedrick Smith (PBS); this broadcast examines attempts being made to reform the economy, and includes excerpts of interviews with and statements by state farm manager Dimitri Starodubtsev, Ural-Mash General Director Igor Stroganov, Mark Masarski, State Supervisor of Timber Aleksandr Bokhan, engineer Yuri Kaplan, economist Leonid Abalkin, and unidentified others.
