An examination of the influence of the public's expression of opinions on current issues through telephone calls, fax machines and the mail on members of Congress and the Clinton administration, including an interview by Ted Koppel (ABC) with radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh, and taped segments with Koppel, Sen. Robert Dole, Richard Wing, Toni Valdez, Phyllis Andre, White House Deputy Press Secretary Lorraine Voles, Rep. Newt Gingrich's Press Secretary Tony Blankley, Ralph Reed of the Christian Coalition, Reverend Louis Sheldon of the Traditional Values Coalition, Jeff Atkinson, Terri Jarvie, Horace Deets of the American Association of Retired Persons, Gingrich Administrative Assistant Annette Thompson, Sen. Patrick Leahy, Rep. Barney Frank, WRKO radio talk show host Jerry Williams, Sen. John Danforth, Gingrich, and unidentified others.
