(San Francisco, California) Kidnappers seize Patricia after beating and tying up her boyfriend and a neighbor. [Another neighbor, Sandy GOLDEN - describes sounds from kidnapping affray. Patricia pleaded with kidnappers before they took her away from apt.] [Berkeley police Richard BERGER - believes kidnapping was planned.] Kidnapping may be linked to political protest or ransom money.
