(Washington: Rita Braver) Thwarting of a Moslem fundamentalist terrorist plot to set off bombs in several locations in New York City featured; exclusive CBS News videotape of the FBI bringing in suspects shown; map shown of the targets: the UN, the FBI building and two tunnels. [FBI's James FOX - comments.] The plotters' hopes of killing United Nations Secretary General Boutros Boutros-Ghali, Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and Senator Alfonse D'Amato mentioned. Linking of the group to Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman, whose followers allegedly bombed the World Trade Center, noted. [June 16, ABDEL RAHMAN - (thru translator) says America is accountable for supporting Mubarak.] The backgrounds of the suspects outlined on screen; artist sketches shown. [US attorney Mary Jo WHITE - comments on the arrests.]
