(Studio) Defense begins its case at Lynette Fromme trial.
REPORTER: Harry Reasoner

(Sacramento, California) Jury watches videotape recording of defense attorney John Virga questioning President Ford. No cross-exam. September 5, 1975, film shown of assassination attempt. Ford saw Fromme moving toward him in crowd and stopped; he saw gun, and at same time, Secret Service agent grabbed gun. Ford didn't hear gun click. Doesn't recall touching Fromme or gun.
