(DC) Nixon achieved worldwide fame for overseas visits as Eisenhower's Vice President Took 9 trips; talked with common people. "Kitchen Debate" with USSR Premier Nikita Khrushchev shown. Acclaimed as hero for refusing to buckle to Khrushchev. Polish cheered him. Rocks thrown at him in Caracas, Venezuela; he and wife almost killed.
