(Pentagon: David Martin) The search for survivors at the Pentagon after the attack on September 11, 2001 featured; scenes shown of the fireball from the plane crashing into the building, the wreckage. [Adm. David THOMAS††, staffer Jerry HENSON††, Navy Comdr. David TARANTINO††- recall the scene after the crash and Henson’s rescue.] The death of Thomas’s friend Bob Dolan†† noted.
