(Johannesburg: Jim Hickey) Apparent condition of jailed dissident Nelson Mandela reported indicated by his appearance during hospital visit; details given, videotape shown. His last public appearance in 1960s reviewed. [Winnie MANDELA - idens. hospital; protests (on phone) to government about moving husband without her permission.] Possibility of Mandela's release from prison considered; President P.W. Botha recalled suggesting Mandela's release may be linked to this week's E.-W. spy swap in Berlin. Govt. said claiming Anatoly Shcharansky's release is insufficient grounds for freeing Mandela.
