(DC: Michael Connor) President commission's continued investigation of Morton Thiokol's approval of Challenger's launch despite concern of its engineers over weather's effect on booster seals examined. [Commission member David ACHESON - explains focus of inquiry.] [Thiokol vice president Joe KILMINSTER - declines comment.] Kilminster noted Thiokol executive approving liftoff, over objections of Thiokol engineer Allan McDonald and others. Issue of temperature at time of launch reviewed. NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) shuttle director Richard Truly mentioned.
