(New York: Jim Axelrod) A "Nature" report finding that the age of the father can raise the risk of autism in children examined; report quoted; statistics on autism rates, older fathers and genetic mutations cited. [Psychiatrist Dr. Dolores MALASPINA- says the risk goes up as the man ages.] [Yale University Dr. Stephan SANDERS- says the effect is small.] The collection of sperm by younger men for later use discussed.
