(Orlando, Florida: Kerry Sanders) The graduation of University of Central Florida medical students, who are all leaving the school debt-free, featured; details given about how the school gave each medical student free tuition and covered living expenses in order to attract them to the new program; average medical student debt cited. [UCF graduate Dr. Sarina AMIN†- says she doesn’t have hundreds of thousands of dollars hanging over her head.] [UCF College of Medicine Dr. Deborah GERMAN†- says if we didn’t have the scholarships we’d be likely to attract students that couldn’t get in anywhere else.] [Graduate Romeo JOSEPH‡- comments on the repayment burden.] [Graduate Dr. Keith CONNOLLY†- says one of us has been instilled with the sense of wanting to give back.]
