TASS's publisher of debate in which Yeltsin was fired reported Accusations by Mikhail Gorbachev against Yeltsin and Yeltsin's confession of disloyalty quoted on screen. Intraparty fight said illustrating both limits of political criticism in USSR and Gorbachev's willingness to sacrifice someone who earlier supported his reform programs to keep conservatives at bay.
