(DC: Dennis Troute) [MEESE - calls report "Monday morning quarterbacking."] Meese said refusing to comment on report's suggestion that he approved use of funds to ransom hostages in Lebanon. [MEESE - won't comment.] Report's findings on role of busman. H. Ross Perot and Colonel Oliver North in this plan reported [PEROT - describes financing rescue-ransom operation; denies talking to Meese's office about matter.] North, Robert McFarlane and others said insisting Meese approved plan. Incident said being investigated by independent cnsl. Lawrence Walsh.
