(Darmstadt, West Germany: David Ensor) Kristallnacht, so named for broken glass in street after Nazi rampage against Jewish shops and synagogues, recalled; scenes shown of German chancellor Helmut Kohl making speech in Frankfurt synagogue; Kohl's visit to Bitburg cemetery with President Reagan recalled. Historical film from 1938 incident shown. [At opening of new temple, JEW - recalls 1938 events.]
