(DC: Bill Greenwood) Report on need for modernizing United States nuclear power plants and nuclear weapons plants featured; details given of financial priorities given in report [Senator John GLENN - says cleanup is being shortchanged.] Planned closing of plants in Rocky Flats, Colorado, Hanford, WA, and Fernald and Mound, Ohio, noted; problem of shortage of tritium, a necessary component of nuclear weapons, explained. Energy Department reported more concerned with weapons prod. than with cleaning up nuclear contamination.
