Finally tonight, the story of a true American hero who risked his life during the Vietnam War to save 10 members of his platoon despite being wounded himself. Now he's the first recipient of the nation's highest military honor Medal of Honor under President Trump. NBC's Peter Alexander has his story. Nearly 50 years later, for Jim McLuhan, the memories of that raging battle in Vietnam are still vivid. There's two North Vietnamese regular soldiers with AK 47s staring right at me.
