(Los Angeles, California: Gary Shepard) Announcement from South Korea that it will stop using drift nets for fishing in Pacific Ocean featured; details given, scenes shown of this method of fishing, which is called "curtains of death" by envtlists. [Research biologist Sam LABUDDE - says drift netting is a form of economy plundering.] [American fisherman Warren BALLARD - criticizes murder of dolphins and porpoises by miles of netting.] Japan and Taiwan noted still using drift netting.
