(Washington: Walter Rodgers) Continued debate over arrest of Barry on drug charges featured. [NAACP (National Association for the Advancement of Colored People) 's Benjamin HOOKS - says blacks feel there has been undue harassment of black officials.] [Attorney General Richard THORNBURGH - says there was no harassment in Barry case.] Possibility of plea bargaining by Barry in which he would step down as mayor in return for leniency from government noted.
