Iraqi President Saddam Hussein noted planning to send more troops to Kuwait and stating that hostages can begin coming home at Christmas if US does not attack.

(Paris: Brit Hume) President Bush's Persian Gulf policy featured; scenes shown of him meeting in Paris with his ally against Iraq, British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
