(Studio: Peter Jennings) Statement from Contra rebels in Honduras that they will not disband until they have talked with new President-elect Violeta de Chamorro, who defeated Daniel Ortega in election, reported.

(Managua: David Ensor) Statements from Chamorro about Contras and Ortega featured. [CHAMORRO - (thru translator) calls for Contras to return peacefully to Nicaragua.] Ortega said stating yesterday that he may refuse to give up control of the army and police until Contras are demobilized. [CHAMORRO - (thru translator) says she will govern from now on.] [Chamorro ADVISER - says Ortega will abide by constitution.]
