(Tel Aviv: Dean Reynolds) Palestinian guerrilla attack by sea on Israel featured; scenes shown from amateur video of Israeli navy pursuing speedboat carrying armed Palestinians. [Israeli army spokesman Ranaan GISSIN - comments.] Gunmen noted claiming to be from Palestinian Liberation Front headed by Abu Abbas, who masterminded Achille Lauro hijacking in 1985 and is an associate of PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) leader Yasir Arafat. [Israeli deputy foreign minister Benjamin NETANYAHU - says PLO is trying to hit our population.]
