(Studio) Cost of Living Council releases poll with regard to Nixon economic plan. Of over 2,000, 60.4% says plan stopped wage increases 17% says no or partly so; 33% says plan stopped price rises; 50.6% says no. 40.8% says policy fair; 37% says no; report on ABC poll.

(DC) ABC asked Home Testing Institute to gauge impact and reaction of freeze; 33.1% think they've benefitted; 66.7% haven't. 38.4% says major reason for economic problem is excessive wage increases in union contracts; 35% claims Vietnam war as reason; 21.6% blames welfare program. 55.7% says freeze won't affect their President' choice; 45.5% says it will. Those helped by freeze are grateful.
