(Studio) United States gave $317 million to United Nations last fiscal year; 38% of money United Nations spends. Major of Congress feels United States contribution must be cut.

[GOLDWATER - suggests we stop all funds; says will be happy if they folded; believes no way for United Nations to be instrument for world peace when dominated by Communist cntrys.] [Senator Peter H. DOMINICK - says shouldn't withdraw, but review financial commitments.] [Senator Abraham RIBICOFF - says United States can't pick up marbles and go home every time it loses; needs to get back in leadership post.] Senator Mike Mansfield calls for fund cut.
