A car bomb exploded outside a US embassy office in the southern Iraqi city of Basra. The blast killing at least one Iraqi, wounding at least two more. No Americans hurt. Hours later, several mortar shells or rockets struck the center of Baghdad, where the hotels near the hotels where a lot of international news crews and journalists are based. Iraq's interior ministry says no one was wounded....
