We have lost one of the last surviving legendary Tuskegee Airmen, Brigadier General Charles McGee died in his sleep this morning, according to a family spokesman. Over the course of his historic career, McGee successfully completed 409 air combat missions during World War II, Korea and Vietnam, serving a total of 30 years of active service.
