(Studio) 90,000 Pakistani soldiers surrender to Indian troops; 5000 already in prisoners of war camps in India.

(Dacca, Bangladesh) Surrender ceremonies shown. Bitterness well concealed. Permission to keep arms granted for a while as protection against guerrillas. [Indian OFR. - assures adherence to Geneva conv. rules of 1949.] Traditional ceremony suspected for television benefit. Troops seem relieved.
