(Washington: Morton Dean) Position of undeclared candidate Ross Perot on the MIA/POW issue examined; his letter to Senator John Kerry stating his refusal on political grounds to appear before Congressional hearings on the issue quoted. [KERRY - comments.] Perot's report to President Ronald Reagan in 1987 that POWs and MIAs had been left behind quoted; Perot's charges that government official Richard Armitage blocked efforts to rescue POWs recalled. [Representative Stephen SOLARZ - talks about Perot's business deals in Vietnam.]
