(Studio) Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey campaigns in Hartford, Connecticut. Richard Nixon in Boston, Massachusetts. George Wallace rests in Montgomery, Alabama. Harris poll shows Nixon leads Humphrey 35-40%. Humphrey gains 4 pts.; Nixon won and Wallace lost 3 pts. Fewer undecided votes. Compared poll to September Gallup poll. Pollsters disagree by 7 million votes. Harris says if Vice President gains few more pts., election could be too close to call.
