(Studio) Texas Cmteman. Frank Erwin says sentiment grown in his delegation for nominating Johnson. He speak before rules committee against abolishing unit-rule. Says if unit-rule abolished, his group won't have to vote for Governor John Connally. Rules Committee sub-committee votes to end unit-rule. They'll recommend to committee that delegates be allowed to decide what they want to do. Credentials Committee decides that regular and challenging Georgia delegates to share 41 votes. Governor Lester Maddox says decision is attack on him; he'll fight decision on floor. Md. challengers, Georgia state representative Julian Bond also unhappy.
