(Studio) President Nixon decides on limited action to control inflation from construction industry wage and price spiral.

(DC) Labor Secretary Hodgson announces repeal of Davis-Bacon Act; Federal Govt. thus not required to pay highest wages for federal building job's. [HODGSON - hopes labor industry not upset by action; not anti-union action, continue as long as emergency exists.] No other administration action planned; action expected to reduce construction unemployment rate; wages to be determined locally.
