(Studio) Pre-trial hearings begin for Colonel Oran Henderson in connection with cover-up of My Lai incident.

(Fort Meade, MD) Henderson charged with dereliction of duty for not making thorough investigation of My Lai incident and making false statements; Henderson could receive 4 years, 3 mos. in prison if convicted. [HENDERSON - feels hurt by charges; during investigation, told nothing happened at My Lai; investigated specific instances of conduct, not atrocities.] [Defense Attorney Henry ROTHBLATT - in response to reporter question, as to whether Henderson made scapegoat, says draw own conclusion; Henderson highest ranking ofr. charged.]
