(Studio) Withdrawal deadline from Vietnam, primary question in DC.

(DC) President Nixon sets no date for total United States withdrawal from Vietnam in speech last night. [Senator Hugh SCOTT - says Nixon mentioned total withdrawal and success of Vietnamization for 1st time last night; in response to reporter question, believes Nixon intends to end war before 1972 election.]

(Studio) In speech Nixon recalled presentation of posthumous medal to sergeant Carl G. Taylor's widow; Nixon says wants to end war in way worthy of Taylor's sacrifice.

(Avella, Pennsylvania) [Mrs. Shirley TAYLOR - says had no idea Nixon would single out husband. In response to reporter's questions, replies husband believed in what United States fighting for, Vietnam deserved freedom and helping preserve US freedom by fighting; husband would say be proud of US; if want to live in US, should be willing to fight for it.]
