(Cairo: Garrick Utley) The historic signing of the Israeli-PLO peace accord that gives the Palestinians self-rule in Gaza and Jericho featured; scenes shown from Cairo, Egypt, of the signing ceremonies in which neither PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization) leader Yasir Arafat nor Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin would initially sign the maps document. [Backstage, RABIN - comments.] The as-yet unresolved issues outlined.

(In the Gaza Strip: Dean Reynolds) The skeptical reaction in Jericho and Gaza to today's events featured; scenes shown of the presence of the Israeli army in Jericho and the absence of change in Gaza. [PALESTINIANS - comment.]
