(Studio) Reporter, believing aims, principles of United States involvement in Vietnam War now hopeless, asks: whether North Vietnam any more willing to negotiate after United States troop strength reduced than now; if easier for President to negotiate on Vietnam with 1/3 American support than with 2/3; if North Vietnam likely to give up goals after 25 years when foreign influence finally leaving. Reporter says sooner Vietnam War ended the better.
