(Washington: Jim Angle) Allegations raised about exiled President Jean-Bertrand Aristide in which an informant linked him to Colombian drug trafficking payoffs examined. [On "This Week with David Brinkley", Secretary of Defense William PERRY - says the Justice Department investigated the allegations in detail.] The accusation that payoffs were going to the military leaders General Raoul Cedras, chief of staff Philippe Biamby and police chief Michel Francois, as well as Aristide, outlined. Report that the Justice Department/DEA investigation is still open noted.
