Eddie Slovik, who deserted during World War II, featured; photos shown while Slovik's story of desertion, court-martial and execution case is reviewed. [Retired Major Edward WOODS, veteran Rocky DEFENNIS - review the case.] The two veterans' costly and painstaking efforts to clear Slovik's name over the years recounted. President Clinton's administration's consideration of the pardon requested by Woods and Defennis noted. Slovik's gravesite in Detroit shown.
