(Los Angeles: Anderson Cooper) The story of The Lighthouse Church in a disadvantaged neighborhood in Los Angeles featured; scenes shown from the Watts community of the church started by one man and staffed by volunteers, who provide community services. [Preacher Edward BYNUM, full-time volunteers Loren Stewart DAVIS, Petrouchka STEWART - talk about the ministry.] The murder of the minister's daughter by a stray bullet noted. [LAPD sergeant Rick BANKS - says people came forward because of the importance of The Lighthouse to the area.] [BYNUM, volunteer Bonnie GILLETTE-TURNER - say they will carry on after the loss.]
