(Chicago: Erin Hayes) The case of Girvies Davis, who is set to be executed in Illinois now that his appeal to Governor Jim Edgar for clemency has been denied, featured; details given of the conditions under which Davis signed a confession to murder and was subsequently tried and sentenced to death. [Former Chicago police superintendent Richard BRAZACK - comments.] [Voice of DAVIS - says he was threatened.] [Saint Claire County prosecutor Robert HAIDA - points out that Davis and not the victims has lived on.]
