(Studio) Case involving "New York Times" publisher of classified Pentagon report reaches Supreme Court "Chicago Sun-Times" reports United States South Vietnam Embassy knew month in advance of South Vietnam President Ngo Dinh Diem's assassination in 1963. "Los Angeles Times" reports State Secretary Dean Rusk refused advice to pull United States out of South Vietnam in 1963. "Miami Herald" reports Defense Secretary Robert S McNamara in 1966 wanted to halt bombing North Vietnam; agreed to North Vietnam-South Vietnam coalition government; both ideas rejected.
