(Studio: Catherine Crier) President Clinton said considering asking the committee on military base closings to reconsider the plan to close McClellan Air Force Base, California, in order to save jobs in California.

(Washington: Lisa Stark) The troublesome job hunt for military veterans in a time in which the military is downsizing examined. [Marine veteran Alvin HUDEK - comments.] The Higher Quality program in Chicago cited as an example of the effort to find good jobs for service veterans.
