(East Baltimore: Aaron Brown) A medical solution for the care of the poor community in East Baltimore, Maryland, featured; details given of the problem of overcoming the obstacles in getting people to some to free medical screenings, such as eye examinations, the use of community residents in helping perform the eye exams and bridging the gap between poor communities and academic medical institutions. [Housing project manager Deborah EVERETT, vision specialist Sharon FORD, nurse manager Lane CAMERON - talk about the Sight and Soul eye exam project.] Treatment at the Johns Hopkins hospital noted.
